Q: Michele tell us a little bit about yourself and your mission
My beautiful Mum (Francesca) is Italian which means I have grown up in a culture where food is a big part of my family and everyday life. Cooking delicious and nourishing food from scratch means you always know what goes in it and into the bellies of your loved ones.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As time went on, I have continued to explore the link and the importance of choosing healthy and nutrient dense foods at all stages of our lives. This ignited a passion to deliver products with proven health benefits that can easy fit into everyone’s lives, no matter where you are on that journey.⠀⠀
Diving into a world of Adaptogens, Medicinal Mushrooms and Tonic Herbal combinations, I have quickly realised the amazing benefits on the body when incorporated into your lifestyle and how they can truly transform your life.

Q: Can you explain what Adaptogens are and why they are important?
Adaptogens are a select group of herbs that support the body’s natural ability to deal with stress. They are called adaptogens because of their unique ability to “adapt” their function according to the specific needs of the body.
Simply put, they adjust or adapt to internal or extremal stressors in your body or environment and support you to respond and regulate naturally.
They literally help the body to recalibrate itself depending on our emotional and physical surroundings. So, for example, they can help calm in times of stress. They can bring peace to a racing mind in the middle of the night. They can give clarity when everything around is in turmoil. They can provide energy when we are tired.
Some examples of the types of stressors adaptogens can support you with are, a compromised immune system function, gut related digestive issues and inflammation and healthy weight management.
Q: How do your products support your brands mission?

Tonika’s Coffee Creamer is a perfect addition to your coffee, hot chocolate, tea, smoothie and baking.
Our creamers are gluten free, plant based, thermogenic, dairy free, with a base of coconut milk, added MCT’s and some of the world’s best adaptogens carefully selected to help us manage stress, calm our minds, help us with anti-ageing and overall boost our immune system.
They are very low in carbs and there is no added sugar, we use a little monk fruit powder to give it a little sweetness. Also being very high in MCT’s, this then helps to effectively support ketosis
Hu Shou Wu (FO-TI) A Superior rejuvenation, beauty and longevity tonic. He Shou Wu may help nourish the blood, hair, skin, nervous system, as well as increase our libido.

It is a part of my morning ritual and I truly notice if I ever have to go a day without it – it provides me with brain clarity, puts me in a great mood and allows that caffeine hit to travel through my system for longer with the added MCT oil powder. It is the BEST !
