Treat someone you love on Valentines Day with this delicious dessert that not only tastes amazing, but is also full of nourishing, natural wholefoods and raw cacao which is known for its aphrodisiac and euphoric qualities!
Raw Chocolate Love Tarts
- ¼ cup of desiccated coconut
- ¼ cup of almonds
- 2 tablespoons of raisons
- A tiny pinch of salt
Process the base ingredients in a food processor or pulse in a blender until they form a crumble.
Press the base into two heart shaped tart pie tins. Alternative, you can press the base into two glasses if you don’t have the heart tins!
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 large ripe avocado
- 2 teaspoons of almond meal
- 2 teaspoons of coconut nectar
- 2 heaped tablespoons of cacao
- ¼ cup of almond milk
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
Blend all ingredients except the coconut oil in a high speed blender until combined. Add the coconut oil and blend well until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you need to add a touch more almond milk to make it blend easily you can.
Pour the filling on top of the bases and refrigerate to set.
Serve with fresh berries, coconut and cacao nibs.
